Founder Hailey Kissee has made lighting a candle a ritual that keeps her grounded and during COVID a sense of escape to other dreamy landscapes with just a simple scent note. Her background has always been influenced by design, she began working as an interior designer at 18 based in Venice, CA that allowed her to work with a group of diverse designers. There she was able to gain respect and insight into each designer’s unique style and hone her own personal one. From there she was introduced to the entertainment industry and was able to work as an Entertainment Publicist that gave her another perspective on design and way of telling a story. She still has so many aspects of her creativity that she is open and excited to continue to explore and hopes that Enlitenment can be the outlet in which she can share all of those endeavors. Her wish is that her hand poured candles bring every customer’s life a sense of grounding, intention, and precious ritual that it has brought hers.
